Modalities: Polarity Therapy, Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage

Polarity Therapy: Polarity Therapy is a natural health care system that works with the Human Energy Field. The client and practitioner work together to address physical, mental and emotional energy blocks in a safe, supportive environment. The energy session includes physical contact points that address patterns in the client’s energy anatomy using light touch, medium compression and gentle rocking motions. The client generally experiences a deep sense of well-being and relaxation during the session. Additionally, relationships to food and eating, exercise, self-awareness and lifestyle may be discussed. Some of the protocols may include balancing the nervous system, addressing digestion, circulatory, respiratory or other physical issues. This therapy is very useful when massage therapy is contraindicated. The client has the option to remain fully clothed during a Polarity Therapy
session.

Reiki: Reiki (Universal Life Force) is an ancient and powerful form of healing which is applied with the hands. Reiki treats the mind, body, emotions and spirit. It brings more life, vitality, clarity, wellness and peace of mind. Reiki aids in the healing process and brings relief from stress and pain.

Craniosacral Therapy: Craniosacral Therapy works with the skeletal structure and connective tissues throughout the body. Injuries and trauma cause the body to contract and hood tension resulting in pain and constriction. Craniosacral Therapy locates and reduces or eliminates these tension s bringing relief and freedom. Treatments are powerfully transformational yet gentle and deeply relaxing.

Swedish Massage: A western style of massage that relieves stress, relaxes muscle tissue, and improves blood and lymph circulation. Swedish Massage consists of gliding, kneading, brisk, and tapping strokes to the superficial skin or deeper muscle tissues. Pressure is light to medium. This session may also include Deep Tissue Massage on specific muscles or muscle groups, as needed.

Deep Tissue Massage: A slow, methodical manipulation directed toward the deeper structures of the muscles and fascia in t he body. Deep Tissue Massage increases flexibility, increases range of motion in muscles, breaks up adhesions in muscles, decreases pain, improves posture, increases circulation, increases client awareness, and flushes waste and toxins from muscle tissues.
