As a bodyworker and a licensed physical therapist, I am committed to helping my clients find their own path to health and wellness.
From an early age, I was intrigued by holistic health practices and the interconnections of physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I knew that I wanted to be in a health profession after witnessing the devastating impact of untreated health conditions in Ivory Coast, where I served as a Peace Corps volunteer. After earning a Master of Physical Therapy in 2001, I worked in global health for 20 years, providing physical rehabilitation to landmine victims in Angola, leading a team in Niger that provided therapy to children with neurologic and orthopedic disabilities, and directing treatment programs for children with clubfoot at an international non-profit.
I felt called to make a career change in 2020, after spending several years supporting my family through poorly understood health challenges. Through online support groups and countless hours combing through research, I learned how beneficial craniosacral therapy and other complementary treatments can be for chronic, often invisible health conditions. After completing training in craniosacral therapy and neurolymphatic drainage, I began offering these services to my community.
I live in Durham, NC, with my family, and I strive to maintain balance in my own life by spending time in nature and having meaningful connections with people from all walks of life.
About Jennifer’s Work:
Physical Therapy
Physical therapists (PT) provide evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular pathologies, injuries, and chronic conditions and help restore function and maximize quality of life. Physical therapists have advanced education in human anatomy and physiology, are licensed by their state, and complete continuing education to maintain their license. Jen offers focused care emphasizing holistic, hands-on therapy for pain relief and simple exercises and stretches that you can do at home.
Jen graduated from Western Carolina University with her Master of Physical Therapy in 2001.
Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle hands-on technique used to regulate and bring balance to the central nervous system and other systems of the body. Using a light touch, CST providers assess and release restrictions in the craniosacral system– comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surrounds the brain and spinal cord. In addition to its benefits for general well-being, CST can be beneficial for challenging health conditions such as chronic pain, chronic fatigue, concussions, headaches, orthopedic problems, central nervous system disorders, TMJ disorder, and more.
Jen has completed the Upledger Institute’s CS1 and CS2 courses.
Perrin Technique
The Perrin Technique involves manual drainage of the neurolymphatic system to help the body remove toxins that cause symptoms such as fatigue, pain, difficulty concentrating, and sensitivity to food, chemicals, sound, and lights. This technique originated with Dr. Raymond Perrin of Manchester, UK and has a strong and growing evidence base for the treatment of chronic conditions such as ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, and Long COVID. Dr. Perrin is a leading expert on the association between the lymphatic system and the sympathetic nervous system. Treatment by the therapist is combined with pacing and self-treatment at home. Jen recently became one of the few therapists in the United States licensed in the Perrin Technique. Check out https://theperrintechnique.com/ for more information.
You may schedule an appointment with Jen by contacting her at jeneverhart@gmail.com or by calling or texting 919-724-8042.

HealthTouch NC LLC welcomes… Annabelle Green, Herbal Practitioner
HealthTouch NC LLC welcomes…
Name: Annabelle Green
Modality: Herbal Practitioner
Business Name: Radix Herbals
Mobile Office: (919) 590- 9383
Email: hello@radixherbals.com
Website: radixherbals.com
About Annabelle:
I’ve been practicing herbalism for the past 12 years across the US and Europe- as a clinician, a community herbalist, an educator and a medicine maker. The core of my formal education was a 1300+ hour intensive with the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism. I have a broad range of clinical experience- specializing in digestive issues, autoimmune conditions, acute care, pre + post surgery support, bone health, brain injury recovery and chronic genitourinary infection. While I see people of all ages, since moving back home to the Triangle I’ve been focused on supporting seniors (55+) through the aging process: from aches and pains to arthritis and high cholesterol.
As a practitioner, my style is warm and approachable, merging bio-medical and traditional herbal knowledge. I ask questions, listen intently, and make connections, digging into and addressing the roots of the issue, to cultivate deep and lasting wellbeing rather than just masking the symptoms of ill health.
About Herbalism:
As a clinical western herbalist, I use a mixture of traditional, bio-medical and energetic ways of knowing to assess health issues from different angles and approach the root of the problem. Drawing on folk wisdom, evidence-based practice, and pulse observation, we’ll work to resolve not only the symptoms, but the underlying causes—strengthening and balancing body systems with herbs and lifestyle changes so that ultimately your body can regulate itself.
Our work together starts with a 1.5- 2 hour intake process, where I’ll take a full health history and a deep dive into your primary concerns. Within a week I’ll reach out with custom made herbal blends (usually based around a daily tea and tincture) and written lifestyle suggestions. We’ll meet for a follow up every few months as things shift and improve.
I’m excited to be at Health Touch and looking forward to seeing you soon! More information on my website at radixherbals.com

Modalities: Whole Brain Balancing with PSYCH-K®, Trauma Healing and DNA Activation
Phone: 910-795-9478

Website: www.wholebrainbalancing.com
Paula is a Preferred Facilitator with PSYCH-K International for nearly ten years, having studied directly with Bruce Lipton and founder Rob Williams in 2011 while living in California. She has over 30 years of experience in subtle energy therapies, advanced biotechnology systems and integrative health care. Formerly a management consultant and senior research analyst, she holds a master’s degree and is a published bibliographer. Certified in Transformational Healthcare Leadership from UCLA, recent studies include Trauma Healing with Thomas Hübl, Spiritual Emergence/Emergency with Dr. Emma Bragdon and DNA Activation with Acurda Melchizedek.
Whole Brain Balancing
Whole Brain Balancing utilizes three quantum-level modalities for emotional healing, psychological growth, and spiritual awakening. These include: PSYCH-K® balances to transform self-limiting subconscious beliefs; Trauma Healing to restore a sense of felt safety; and DNA Activation to identify collective and ancestral trauma driving self-limiting beliefs.
Whole Brain Balancing with PSYCH-K® practically applies Bruce Lipton’s Scientific theory of epigenetics featured in his groundbreaking book, The Biology of Belief. As a next generation, brain integration technique; PSYCH-K combines quantum physics, neuroscience, evolutionary biology and positive psychology. Results feature transformational subconscious change to achieve self-empowerment and peak performance. The process of PSYCH-K balancing generates the “Whole Brain State” by transforming subconscious beliefs and balancing the brain’s two hemispheres. Now you can experience swift, deep and enduring change in the subconscious mind, with breakthrough experiences that previously seemed unattainable.
Studies reveal most adults have experienced trauma, usually in childhood, that often sets the stage for subsequent trauma in later life. All of humanity has recently experienced collective trauma while enduring the global pandemic. Individual, ancestral and collective trauma represent three types of inter-related traumas. The best medicine for trauma restores the original felt sense of safety that is damaged during traumatic events and worsened through recurring flashbacks. Now, we can redress traumatic memory nonverbally, to prevent re-traumatizing the brain, with brain integration and subtle energy techniques like PSYCH-K. Paula trained with Thomas Hübl, from 2019 to 2021.
DNA Activation is timely because it enhances our current genetic coding and holds the potential to upgrade our future epigenetic potential. As the building block of human biology genetic science also proves our DNA is programmable, inferring it can be transformed with purposeful intention. The process validates inter-relationships among individual, ancestral and collective trauma; revealing the roots of trauma, especially in the ancestral genetic stream. The process of DNA Activation identifies psychological shadows caused by trauma, while restoring integrity to the compromised DNA strands. Paula studied with Acurda Melchizedek, from 2019 to 2020.
Private sessions are available; either in-person at Health Touch in Durham, or remotely online. Visit the website www.wholebrainbalancing.com to view videos and email chiarmonte@gmail.com to schedule a complimentary phone consultation.

Integrative Health Coaching to Enhance Wellness Before and After Surgery for Cancer
What is Integrative Health Coaching?
You go to the doctor and are told the familiar, “you need to lose weight”, “you have to lower your blood pressure”, or “your diet needs to improve”. Easier said than done!
Being told what you need to do to improve your health is all good and well; but, how to do it is a different story. “I am busy with work.” “I have a family to take care of.” “I don’t have the finances.” “I don’t know where to start!” When you need to take what your doctor says and put it into action, that’s where your integrative health coach comes in!
What is Integrative Health?
Integrative health focuses on the well-being of the whole person, including the mind, body, and spirit. The core principle of integrative health is that each of the three aspects of the whole person affects the other two. Therefore, disease can be cured, prevented, or reduced by giving the right amount of care and attention to all three aspects. For example, high blood pressure can be caused by a combination of obesity (body), work stress (mind), and emotional stress (spirit).
How is integrative health coaching different from other types of coaching?
A coach is traditionally seen as an instructor or trainer. Not so with an integrative health coach. He/she serves only as a guide as the client takes a look at their whole health (body, mind, and spirit) and choose what health decisions best fit their life and values. During the coaching process, the client is the person in charge! They decide what is important for their well-being and set their health goals and actions steps. Meanwhile, the integrative health coach helps the client to think through all the things that impact a person’s ability to make a lasting change in their health behavior. The coach partners with the client to:
• find out what the client truly wants for their health and well-being
• identify the client’s priorities in life
• gather information about the client’s current health
• find out what area of health the client wants to make a change in
• explore how ready the client feels in making that change
• help the client set goals and action steps
Integrative health coaching provides a safe, supportive, and powerful way for you to bridge the gap between your doctor’s advice and making a lasting health change that is most meaningful for you. About Kelly’s work:
Integrative Health Coaching:
The greatest impact on healthcare in the United States is the frequency of lifestyle-related chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and so on. An integrative health coach partners with you to create lifestyle changes that prevent or alleviate these chronic illnesses by helping you bridge the gap between your doctor’s advice and taking action. As an integrative health coach, Kelly will partner with you to assess your whole health (body, mind, and spirit), find out what you truly want for your well-being, and set goals and action steps towards a lasting health change that is most meaningful for you.
Reiki:
Used in over 800 hospitals such as Johns Hopkins and the Mayo Clinic, Reiki is a Japanese relaxation technique that is natural, simple, safe and will put your mind and body at ease. Recommended by Dr. Oz, actress Halle Berry, pro golfer Phil Nickelson, Reiki is a go-to complementary treatment for anxiety, lack of sleep, and stress as well as pain relief and high blood pressure. Kelly is a second degree Reiki practitioner trained by 2 Reiki masters and will provide options for using aromatherapy and a weighted blanket during each session.
About Kelly:
I have loved science for as long as I can remember, particularly biology. Growing up, I either wanted to be a veterinarian or a medical doctor so that I could use biology to help others. However, in college, I realized that I wanted to not only help others but also satisfy my investigative drive, and my investigative drive pushed me to become a developmental biologist.
My values of objective analysis, responsibility, concern-for-others, and achievement are greatly tied to feeling fulfilled in my job and career. However, after 12 years of laboratory research and 7 years as a certified clinical research professional, I felt a need to focus more on my value of concern-for-others. Also, my personal experience with various health issues led me to adopt an integrative health lifestyle that has helped me significantly. In addition to the conventional health care I receive, I also reap the benefits of Reiki, essential oils, deep tissue massage, lymphatic drainage massage, mindfulness practice, acupressure, and Qigong. By having had this experience, I want to help others become aware of the conventional and complementary approaches available to them for creating a healthy lifestyle as well as motivate them to sustain that lifestyle. It was time for change, and change led me to a career in integrative healthcare and starting my business, My Wealth in Health.
The goal of My Wealth in Health is to help others achieve their vision of optimal health through discovering methods of self-care that fit their values and needs. By doing so, we will be able to increase the quality of our lives to the fullest! The services will include integrative health coaching, Reiki healing, and creating personalized aromatherapy based on the client’s scent preferences, health profile, and safety concerns.
My educational background and training include:
• Graduate of the Duke Integrative Medicine Integrative Heath Coach Professional Training Program
• Second degree Holy Fire III Reiki training from Bryce Goebel at A Reiki Place
• Second degree traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki training from Marcia McCollum Hebrank at One Light Center.
• Certification in Holistic Remedies and Essential Oils by Smart Majority
• Certified Clinical Research Professional with the Society of Clinical Research Associates
• Certified Clinical Research Associate with the Association for Clinical Research Professionals
• Master’s degree in Cell Biology at Duke University in Durham, NC
• Certificate in Developmental and Stem Cell Biology at Duke University in Durham, NC
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT
• Distinguished Toastmaster with Toastmasters International
My spare time includes Pilates, mindfulness practice, knitting and crocheting, taking care of my potted rose garden, movies, and exploring North Carolina with my friends.

DESCRIPTION OF PRACTICE AND MODALITIES: COACH APPROACHES: As an Authentic Leadership Coach, or Holistic Life Coach, I “coach to the Soul, as opposed to coaching to the goal.” My style of coaching focuses on empowering the client to uncover limiting beliefs and other blocks to living their best life. I draw on my training as a psychologist, coach, intuitive, and teacher when working with clients; and find that each client is unique in both their expression of their presenting issues/concerns, as well as their response to certain methods for healing. In other words, no single approach works for everyone. I am very open, discerning, and deliberate when evaluating what might be the best approach with a specific client. The following words describe the essence of my coaching: Soul Coaching, Transformation Coaching, Transition Coaching, Empowerment Coaching, Reentry Coaching.
TECHNIQUES/MODALITIES: I do not practice one specific modality but consider myself to have a toolbox from which to draw from with respect is needed for a particular client. As stated above, I draw on my experience as a psychologist, coach, intuitive, and teacher when coaching clients. I am familiar with the following methods and modalities: Intuitive Counseling; Positive Psychology; Motivational
Interviewing; EFT; Energy Medicine; Transformational Alchemy; CBT; and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.
PROFILE: Lacy Frazer practiced as a Clinical Psychologist for 21 years working with incarcerated men in federal prison. Following her own spiritual awakening in 2006, Lacy developed an innovative, holistic and transformational self help program for offenders releasing from federal prison based in her belief that all people have innate value and talent, and have the ability to change their lives. Her program was highly successful as evidenced by the extremely low recidivism rates of her clients, as well as their successful release and reentry back into society, and commitment to live lives of service. Lacy retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons in December 2017 with the dream of expanding her programs through the lens of Life Coaching. Lacy’s passion to help others live a life of meaning, purpose, and service has led to the creation of Lacy Frazer Coaching & Consulting, LLC. Lacy uses her skills as a psychologist, coach, educator, and intuitive to help liberate the soul through a variety of techniques and unique approaches that serve the whole person.
